What You’ll Do

As a Master Scheduler, you will develop and maintain schedules while working with multiple departments on key deliverables ensuring that our projects and programs are adequately planned and executed against. The Master Scheduler will develop new dashboards to effectively communicate weekly team performance against the baseline cost and schedule. The tools and schedules developed will be used by both internal and external customers. As a scheduler you will assist in the transformation of the department to a data and metrics driven team and be a key part of recovery analysis when exceptions come up during a project.

What We Do

The Master Scheduler supports the Project Management team which plays a critical role in technical automation projects, ensuring that the project is successfully executed, on time, and within budget. They serve as a key liaison between technical teams, stakeholders, and management, ensuring that the project is executed smoothly and successfully, meeting its objectives and delivering value to the organization.

What You’ll Do

  • Create and maintain multiple Program Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) using Microsoft Project Professional and Smart Sheets.

  • Plan, coordinate, and visualize all significant program activities and schedules developed and maintained within PMO.

  • Lead ad-hoc schedule studies to support programmatic decision-making processes

  • Participate in Architecture of Program Planning & Control framework (Work Breakdown Structure / Integrated Master Plan)

  • Participate in Development of Resource-Loaded Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) – in support of Proposal Projects in accordance w/ scheduling policies and best practices/guidelines.

  • Works from engineering plans and production specifications to establish production schedules, labor loading and capacity requirements.

  • Analyze trends, develop reports, facilitate communication and provide feedback on contractor performance.

  • Integrate the work of Symbotic and contractor tasks and activities into a critical path schedule in a fast-paced, real-time environment. Develop recommendations to reduce cycle time on projects through schedule analysis.

  • Identify and forecast scheduling trends and provide recommendations to mitigate risks to program schedule.

  • Develop and provide project status presentations to senior leadership.

  • Facilitate and track schedule change requests for approval by senior leadership.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience managing complex schedules and priorities in dynamic environments.

  • Earned Value Management expertise and ability to develop Cost and Schedule Index across multiple programs.

  • Must be an advanced user of MS Project Professional and Oracle Open Air timekeeping systems. Ability to learn Smart Sheets scheduling.

  • Ability to work, influence, and gain consensus across multiple functions.

  • Expertise in use of MS Excel and demonstrated proficiencies in Project or Primavera P6, Visio, ERP systems, and other applications.

  • Smartsheet experience a plus

  • Ability to effectively plan, prioritize, execute, follow up and anticipate challenges.

  • Capable of leading and executing tasks associated with Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) planning, development, execution and analysis.

  • Demonstrated experience supporting and interacting daily with high level customers and ability to deliver products successfully in a fast-paced environment (on demand).

  • Remote work location with 25% travel expected.

Our Environment

  • Up to 25% of travel may be required. Employees must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations.

  • The employee is responsible for owning a credit card and managing expenses personally to be reimbursed on a bi-weekly basis.

The base range for this position in the posted location is $101,000.00 - $138,600.00 however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes medical, dental, vision, disability, 401K, PTO and/or other benefits.
