About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Hardware Engineering Program Manager to help scale the development, integration, and validation of next-generation humanoid robots. In this role, you’ll lead management of our engineering robot fleet and oversee the execution of the end-to-end test pipeline, ensuring seamless coordination across hardware, software, and systems teams.

You’ll own fleet readiness, drive issue resolution, and build performance metrics that keep leadership informed and teams moving fast. If you thrive at the intersection of technical project management, agile planning, and cross-functional execution, this role is for you.

Location: Bay Area

Travel: Up to 50% (to Salem, OR)

About the Work

  • Manage the JIRA-based test request pipeline, triage priorities, and align resources
  • Oversee the engineering robot fleet: allocation, configuration, maintenance, and readiness
  • Define and track fleet metrics (uptime, usage, failure modes) and deliver clear reporting
  • Lead sprint planning, scrum boards, and retrospectives for the SEIT team
  • Lead Issue Triage meetings and drive issue closure
  • Coordinate release readiness reviews across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and field operations
  • Track and report key metrics: test execution rate, defect discovery rate, requirements verification status
  • Support engineering leadership by managing escalations and removing roadblocks

About You

  • 5+ years in hardware project/program management (robotics, system integration, or related)
  • Strong JIRA expertise (workflows, dashboards, sprint planning)
  • Experience managing hardware/software systems or test assets at scale
  • Experience in issue management
  • Analytical, organized, and data-driven with excellent communication skills
  • Bachelor’s in engineering, project management, or related field

Bonus points:

  • Experience in humanoid robotics, autonomous systems, or complex mechatronics
  • Experience in Software release process
  • Knowledge of hardware failure analysis, V&V, or diagnostic workflows
  • Dashboard automation (Confluence, JIRA, Sheets, scripts)
  • PMP certification
